Build Meaningful Partnerships in the Specialty Coffee Industry
ICOSA Brewhouse is a design-led specialty coffee brand inventing tools that change how coffee is experienced.
Our award winning sensory glassware is used by national & world champions, and leading cafés across 100+ countries. We collaborate closely with professionals who care deeply about craft, performance, and quality.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone just as passionate about coffee as we are, someone who wants to step into a role where you get to build partnerships and meaningful relationships across the industry.
You will work directly with the founder and play an active role in shaping how ICOSA connects with competitors, industry leaders, educators, and respected voices in specialty coffee.
YOUR ROLE AND OPPORTUNITY ON THE TEAM:
This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, community, and structured outreach.
You are responsible for building, organizing, and advancing meaningful relationships within the specialty coffee community, including coffee champions, content creators, cafés, roasters, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
This is not a passive ambassador role. It is a structured, execution-focused position requiring consistency, organization, and proactive follow-through.
You will:
• Identify and research relevant coffee professionals, coffee competitors, brands, and collaborators aligned with ICOSA’s Mission
• Initiate thoughtful, personalized outreach on a daily basis in a way that fosters long-term relationships (not transactional exchanges)
• Maintain a structured partnership pipeline and track all conversations inside our CRM system
• Coordinate collaboration discussions and next steps with clarity and organization
You will work directly with one of the founders, but you are expected to operate independently in day-to-day outreach and relationship management.
This role requires consistent daily engagement, even within part-time hours. Outreach should not be batched irregularly or handled sporadically.
What success looks like:
• Consistent daily outreach activity with organized tracking
• A clearly maintained and updated partnership pipeline
• Proactive follow-ups that move conversations forward and ensure promising conversations are never lost
• High-quality communication aligned with ICOSA’s premium brand positioning and team culture
• Clear documentation of collaboration stages and next steps
• Weekly summary reports that provide founders full visibility into pipeline health (active conversations, progress, and upcoming opportunities)
• Growing network of meaningful industry relationships aligned with strategic direction
Over time, you become a trusted relationship operator within the company, someone who can independently nurture and advance high-quality collaborations.
This role is not:
• Not a sales quota-driven position
• Not a passive “brand ambassador” position
• Not a purely social media engagement role
• Not a transactional affiliate outreach or mass-DM automation role
• Not event planning or logistics management
ABOUT YOU / WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
You may already be:
• Working in coffee and curious about collaboration from a brand perspective
• A barista, competitor, or café professional interested in partnerships
• A marketer inside coffee looking to focus more on relationship development
• Someone deeply familiar with national competitions and industry dynamics
Your skills and experience:
• Ideally, you have 1–4 years of experience in outreach, partnerships, community management, or marketing — but strong coffee literacy and maturity matter just as much.
• Strong, fluent written communication skills in English
• Is comfortable initiating conversations with high-level industry professionals
• Understands specialty coffee culture and coffee competition culture
• Is naturally organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable tracking multiple conversations and follow-ups without being reminded
• Takes pride in clear, polished communication
• Comfort working directly with founders in a small, fast-moving team
• Enjoys relationship building, but approaches it with structure
• Curious about how partnerships are built inside growing companies
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS / WHY JOIN US:
The specialty coffee community is built on relationships & community. Competitions, collaborations, café culture, product innovation, it’s all possible thanks to community.
This role helps build and nurture the network that supports those moments.
At ICOSA Brewhouse, you will:
• Work directly with founders deeply involved in product design and global campaigns.
• Contribute to campaigns that reach a global coffee audience.
• Operate close to innovation. See products and launches before they are introduced to the world.
• Be part of a team that is pioneering global coffee culture.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team focused on building something meaningful through collaboration.
We care deeply about growth, not just as a company, but as individuals. As we expand, there are real opportunities to take on broader ownership based on performance and initiative.
If that sounds exciting to you, you will feel at home here.
COMPENSATION AND WORKING STRUCTURE
• Hours: Begins as Part Time (10-15 hours per week), with potential to expand based on performance and ownership
• Fully remote. Asia time zone working hours required.
• You will collaborate directly with one of the founders
• Consistent daily engagement expected within allocated hours
• Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and region. We are open to discussing structure based on background and scope.
